EXCITING NEWS

Some exciting new (well at least IMO (in my opinion). Starting AUGUST 2009 we will have a different trash company, Right Away Disposal, R.A.D.! The awesome thing about this company is that we will be getting recycling cans. We will still get pickup 2 times a week. Also if you wish to not have the recycle can you can opt out...it will cost the HOA the same amount either way. This new company will be the same price so no worries there. It makes me feel good that we can help the world by recycling more..


And for the HOA "winter party" I believe it will be December 5 from 9am-12pm. Im not exactly sure so dont mark your calenders yet. I will find out the date for sure and update you more on all the party details.

**I read in the Queen Creek newspaper about the SKYLINE RANCH MARKETPLACE! Here are a few blurbs about what I read...

-Home Depot and Target are very much "in"!
-Construction should begin mid 2009
-Construction was delayed because of the down turn in the economy

Well hope that lifts some of your spirits.....we are excited to have a Target even closer and a Home Depot right around the corner. I know they will get lots of business from my household. Now only if they would start any sooner......ah!

**Next HOA meeting is the 30th of this month. Watch for signs!!

**The weather is cooling off...finally...and the parks are being seeded for winter grass. Please make sure your children dont damage the new grass and let it grow in.

**Ive seen alot of garage sale signs.......thats good news! Out with the old and in with the new (plus its extra cash for the holidays) wohoo! Remember to pick up your signs when your done. Keep our community clean!

**With the nicer weather we have been having alot of us are opening our windows. Just a few cautions...

-watch the cords from the blinds and dont let any children get it wrapped around there necks.
-burglers are watching for open windows especially ones on bottom floors to enter into and steal your belongings.

**Today QT off Hunt Hwy was $2.85 for unleaded...thats always welcoming news....hope the price continues to drop.

**And always watch your children at the parks and around the neighborhood...you never know whos lerking around... Keep our children safe!

A new update for the garage sale

To clear up if there is any confusion.....the garage sale is not being planned by the HOA. Its just me wanting to get our community doing something together as a whole. The sale is not going to be at one location...if you want to participate just have a garage sale from your own garage.

I really hope you participate. Its a great was to meet new people, get rid of unwanted stuff and get some money out of it.....

An Update for the Sale

The Community Sale is coming up in just 16 days. We are in need of some helpers to make and put up some signs. Also we need you guys to clean out your garages, kids rooms, toys, etc and getting ready for the big sale. Its a great way to bring in some extra bucks for the holiday season thats just around the corner.

A home in Skyline Ranch II will be featured in the October 2008 issue of PHOENIX HOME AND GARDEN MAGAZINE. "Garden Talks".

Katie Beaver will hold an open house of her Gardens for anyone interested in landscaping their properties.

The open house is scheduled for October 4Th,2008, at 1028 West Desert Basin Drive, from 10 AM to Noon.

Anyone interested please bring along a sketch and rough dimensions of the areas to be landscaped. Also include the location of any plants that already exist

Parking lot

Got an email from a resident wondering about the update on Skyline Ranch Marketplace. Now that we have a nice PARKING LOT...whats next? Anybody have some insight? Give us all some insider. Have a good week.

Clean up

Speaking of yard sales.....last weekend was full of them. Yet I still seem to see lots of the signs up everywhere getting all soggy from the rain. Whos ever garage sale it is from...please take them down. Also if you are walking by one take it down and throw it away. Keep our neighborhood neat and clean. Thank you.

COMMUNITY YARD SALE

With the holidays coming and the cooler weather I think its about time for a Community Yard Sale. Tentative date is September 27th. Start thinking of what you want to sell or what you need to get rid of. Hopefully by this time it will be cooler in the morning.
